What is the Tadpole Trot?

It’s a family affair! The Tadpole Trot is a 50-100 yard dash kids ages 6 and under.  The Tadpole Trot will occur after the 5K.  Kids can jog/walk the 5k with their parent/guardian then head over the the Tadpole Trot! Each child must be accompanied by an adult, and participants of the Tadpole Trot need to register and pick up their t-shirts at packet pickup times.

We will have the following heats: Under 2, 2-3 year olds, 4-5 year old, 6+

Do you have to run the entire race or can you walk?

You can walk, run or ruck. It is up to you and we will have plenty of participants who will walk.

Are baby joggers or strollers allowed during the race?

Yes. The courses are mostly pavement but some do have hills. Please note that the Virginia Beach course is on grass and can become muddy. If you choose to run with a stroller, please start toward the back of the line.
