Click here for pictures of the Joggin’ for Frogmen team running in the Hapalua Half Marathon on Oahu on March 10, 2013.
This Joggin for Frogmen team has raised over $10,000 to support the Hawaii based SEAL command family support programs, specifically benefiting SDVT-1 (SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team ONE), LOGSU (Logistical Support Unit) & TRADET (Training Detachment) families.
When Special Warfare Operator First Class (SEAL) Matt Leathers went missing during training on Oahu, the funds raised allowed the group to purchase needed items to assist the families, friends and teammates during this very difficult time. With the loss of Matt Leathers, this fundraiser took on the new challenge to support the children of a lost teammate. Everything from 2 March to 31 March will go directly to Matt’s children. In addition to the $10,000 raised for the family group, the team has raised over $23,000 for his kids.
