2014

Joggin’ for Frogmen will be participating as a running team as part of the Hapalua Half Marathon on April 13, 2014 in Waikiki, Oahu. Please note that this is not an official Joggin’ for Frogmen “event”, so no medals or t-shirts will be provided. It’s just a team that participants on Oahu can join to help raise money for the Travis Manion Foundation – Hawaii.

 2013

In 2013, the Joggin’ for Frogmen team raised over $10,000 to support the Hawaii based SEAL command family support programs,  specifically benefiting SDVT-1 (SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team ONE), LOGSU (Logistical Support Unit) & TRADET (Training Detachment) families.

When Special Warfare Operator First Class (SEAL) Matt Leathers went missing during training on Oahu in February of 2013, the funds raised allowed the group to purchase needed items to assist the families, friends and teammates during this very difficult time. With the loss of Matt Leathers, this fundraiser took on the new challenge to support the children of a lost teammate. In addition to the $10,000 raised for the family group, the team raised an additional $22,500 for the Leathers children.
