Important Message from the Race Director

Joggin’ for Frogmen’s number one priority is the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff.  In support of, and respect for, the CDC guidance, the 2020 San Diego Joggin’ for Frogmen 5k will be pivoting to virtual running only. The Navy SEAL Foundation and the Joggin’ for Frogmen family love this race. While we will miss you on race day, we are very much looking forward to seeing your amazing social media posts from your virtual run.

All registered participants will be converted to Virtual Racers, and we will be mailing your packet to your address on record. We cannot wait to see your photos as you don your 2020 Joggin’ for Frogmen shirt, medal, and bib. We encourage you all to participate safely from the comforts of your neighborhood or a local trail. We will also be keeping registration open for new virtual registrations so please feel free to continue to share the message of Navy SEAL Foundation with your friends and family. Our ultimate goal of supporting the Navy SEAL Foundation’s five pillars will continue and we look forward to seeing you all at our 2021 race!

Please see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on our website for more information regarding shipping times for Virtual Racer packets, and any other questions that you may have regarding the changes to the race for 2020. There is still time to support the virtual race through sponsorship or donations.

As always, we are so incredibly grateful for your continued support of the Navy SEAL Foundation through Joggin’ for Frogmen!

Sincerely,

The Joggin’ for Frogmen Team

Sincerely, Sarah Williams

What is Joggin' for Frogmen

Inspired by US Navy SEALs (Frogmen), the Navy SEAL Foundation’s Joggin’ for Frogmen Race Series brings communities and families together to jog in honor of the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.

All participants age 7 and older will run in the 5k. Following the 5k is a “Tadpole Trot” for kids ages 6 and under. All registered 5k and Tadpole participants will receive a Joggin’ for Frogmen race shirt at packet pickups. All registered 5k participants will wear a 5k bib and will receive a 5k finisher’s medal when crossing the 5k finish line. Tadpole Trotters need to register for the Tadpole Trot, but can do the 5k with their parents at no extra cost. All Tadpole Trotters will wear a Tadpole Trot bib and will receive a Tadpole Trot medal upon completion of the Tadpole Trot. Please note that while Tadpole Trotters can run in the 5k, they will not receive a 5k medal unless they have on a 5k bib, which requires additionally registering and paying for the 5k.

Joggin’ for Frogmen is proud to partner with GORUCK for the 2020 Race Season!

Ruckers will receive the 5k shirt, medal and a custom GORUCK Finisher patch

Joggin' for Frogmen's number one priority is the health and safety of its participants, volunteers and staff. Like all of you, we're monitoring the COVID-19 virus very closely. For each of our races, we will be following CDC, state and local guidelines and directives and should any race details change due to the coronavirus outbreak we will notify registered participants and update our website and Facebook immediately.
